Peter Scott Drackley
Peter Scott Drackley sings the role of Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor at the October 16, 2010 Hopkins Symphony excerpts concert and in Opera Vivente’s October/November 2010 full production. Mr. Drackley appeared as the Armored Guard in Opera Vivente’s recent production of The Magic Flute. A third-year student at the Peabody Conservatory, he has performed numerous roles with Peabody Opera and Chamber Opera: Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Herr K in the Maryland premiere of Melissa Shiflett’s Dora (performed at Baltimore Theatre Project), Giuseppe in La Traviata, and Leroy in Offenbach’s Marriage by Lanternlight. Mr. Drackley was Nanki-Poo in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado at Theater Harrisburg in Pennsylvania. He was a finalist in the Sylvia Green Voice Competition, and took first place in his division of the National Association of Teachers of Singing district and regional competitions.
