This concert is dedicated in memory of
Margot Bos Stambler
Margot served as HSO General Manager from 1992-2000 and passed away in 2000 from breast cancer. Following her death in 2000, funds were raised by friends, family, and orchestra members to purchase an upright piano for the Bunting-Meyerhoff Interfaith Center.

The piano you see and hear today has been newly acquired and will even better suit the needs of musicians on campus and in our community. We are honored to rededicate this instrument in memory of Margot, once again.

The plaque on the piano reads as follows:
In loving memory of
Margot Bos Stambler, 1962-2000
By her family, friends,
members of Hopkins Symphony Orchestra,
& the entire JHU community.
