Malin Fritz
Malin Fritz, alto, made her debut with the Peabody Opera Theatre last all as Elmire in Kirke Mechem’s Tartuffe. Ms. Fritz received her Bachelor of Music degree in 1987 from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. While at St. Olaf, she appeared as Fiordiligi in Cosà fan tutte and as Rosalia in West Side Story. Ms. Fritz has also been an active participant in the Minnesota Opera Summer Institute, where she appeared as Susanna, Meg Page, an Elisetta in scenes from The Marriage of Figaro, Falstaff, and The Secret Marriage, respectively. Malin Fritz is in her second year of the Master of Music program at the Peabody Conservatory studying with Stanley Cornett. She is the recipient of the Annie Wentz prize in voice.
