Eve Abraham
Eve Abraham, viola, is a staff sergeant in the United States Army Strings and teaches at Goucher College. A recent winner of the Montpelier Cultural Arts Center Recital Competition, she also won first prize in the Baltimore Music Club Competition, and was invited to participate in the 1992 Bryan International Competition, and received an honorable mention in the 1991 Performers of Connecticut Young Artists Competition. She has performed as a soloist with the United States Army Orchestra and the Nutley Symphony Orchestra, and was 1992 Artist-in-Residence for the Westport, Connecticut public schools. She received her Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music where she studied with Heidi Castleman and Atar Arad.
