Dorothy Lofton Jones
Dorothy Lofton Jones, contralto, is well-known in the Baltimore community as an oratorio soloist as well as a recitalist. She has appeared on the Lois Wright series at St. Katherine’s Church and at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. Among her teachers has been Robert Earl Anderson and Elaine Bonazzi. She now studies with Sylvia Olden Lee of the Curtis Institute. A member of the Douglas Memorial Church, Mrs. Jones is soloist at Brown Memorial Church-Woodbrook and a member of the Baltimore Opera Chorus.
