Baltimore Masterworks Chorale

The Baltimore Masterworks Chorale, founded by members of the former Baltimore Symphony Chorus, exists to enrich, inspire, and entertain its audiences through the superb performance of classical choral music, while fostering awareness, understanding, and appreciation of new choral repertoire. Past seasons have featured works by Arvo Pärt, Igor Stravinsky, John Tavener, and Libby Larsen, as well as numerous premieres of new works. The Baltimore Masterworks Chorale has joined forces with the Johns Hopkins Choral Society for the 2007-08 season to present larger-scale works by Zoltan Kodaly, Louis Vierne, and Ludwig van Beethoven.
