Harvey Felder

Music Director, 1987-1990

Mr. Harvey Felder is currently the Affiliate Artist Conductor with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. While Chairman of the Music Department at Haverford College, he served as the Music Director and Conductor of the Haverford/ Bryn Mawr Symphony. Mr. Felder has also been the Music Director of the Ann Arbor (Michigan) Summer Symphony and has appeared as the guest conductor with the Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, the Spokane (Washington) Symphony, and various other ensembles in Michigan, Ohio, and New Jersey.

Mr. Felder has degrees in music from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Michigan. Through his work at various conducting institutes around the country, he has been identified as one of America’s promising young conductors.
